Facilities

Vrinda School is located in the heart of Varkala, India. You will stay in a shared room. The accommodation is located near the international beach (a two-minute walkable distance from the yoga shala). In this economic package, Vrinda School of Yoga provides simple accommodation in one room for two persons in separate beds.

Certification

Students who complete the training are eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT®).

The 200-hour training course consists of theory and practical classes in the basics of Hatha and Ashtanga yoga with knowledge of all contemporary styles of yoga.

Here you will learn the innermost real essence of yoga as mentioned in the traditional books: Vedas, Bhagavat Gita, Puranas, Upanishads, and how yoga got modified into different styles becoming the contemporary styles of yoga. You will learn all of the yoga styles including traditional ancient styles as well as different modern techniques of asanas (poses), pranayamas, mudras, bandhas, meditation, and relaxation techniques, and a yogic diet with a cooking demonstration.

Vrinda School will provide you with all of the teachings based on science and neuroscience, the basics of anatomy and physiology, biochemical and physiological changes before and after the practice of yoga, and the syllabus is equal to the Bachelor of Science in Yoga (BSc Yoga) which has a duration of 3 years.
