200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training
200-Hour Yoga and Ayurveda Teacher Training is the basic form of Yoga and Ayurveda training and as its name suggests it is completed in 200 hours for everyone’s knowledge this is the minimum requirement needed worldwide to become a Yoga or Ayurveda Teacher. This 200 Hours Yoga Training for 28 days and 27 nights in a residential school will be scheduled for six days from Monday to Saturday for intensive study and practice and on Sunday. This program will start from the 1st day of 28 days program ends on the 28th day total study days are 24 days except for 4Sundays. Everyday intense practice of yogic techniques, theory lectures, discussion sessions, practical studies on anatomy physiology, posture instructions correcting the postures, helps each other in adjustment, alignment procedures for postures.
Among the 200 hours are contact hours of practical sessions, theory classes, and discussions with the Lead teacher and other teachers.
The weekly assignments will be a part of the training as that is conducive to gaining in-depth knowledge of the subjects and experience through your yoga practices. During this yoga teacher training, you will be provided with three vegetarian meals. Training manual, charts, and flashcards for study purposes.

Graduation Requirements*
- Tuition paid in full.
- 95% class attendance. If students miss more than 10 hours they are required to attend additional workshops within the approved framework of the Yoga Connection.
- Documentation (hour logs in section 2 of this binder) of all assisting (16 classes), teaching (15hours), class/workshop attendance (20 classes) and karma yoga (15 hours).
- All assisting will be done under the direction of Yoga Connection instructors, unless otherwise requested and approved in writing.
- The workshop/class attendance hours will be done at the Yoga Connection.
- Students will agree to and abide by an ethical code supporting the physical, mental and spiritual welfare of their students. (Required by Yoga Alliance)
- Completion of all required homework, including study-guide questions.
- Completion of required class plans.
- Completion of independent study project.
- Satisfactory demonstration of teaching techniques via closer look and assisting.
- Successful completion of the final exam, 80% or higher. Students falling below this score will be able to retake it.
- Students must demonstrate an emotional and psychological maturity in their relationship to their fellow classmates, instructors and students they work with.
- In their practice and teaching they must show awareness of their students, safety, dignity and self-esteem.

There is no classes on SUNDAY, STUDENTS ARE asked to use the Sunday for rest/study/ site visit/ self introspection/self practice. Students are strictly advice not to practice any intense activities like long running, long swimming, which will affect their daily yoga practice |
